I never leave reviews, but it is necessary to warn families to NOT stay here. It was very unfortunate experience we had as a family on break. This is not a place to go with kids. Our children were verbally attacked by the Manager of the hotel, who after waiting for some sort of apology, as I would have accepted a simple sorry for that outburst as we all have our moments, he proceeded in insulting and hurling hurtful comments about our family. I have never had that type of exchange with anyone. All the beauty and the great things I would have said about many of the staff and the lovely restaurant was ruined as we left with the worst possible feeling of feeling disrespected and mistreated. No one deserves to be treated that way. There is a way to speak to people, with respect, even if the message that needed to be relayed is one that two people don't agree, but screaming at kids and insulting an entire family for no reason other than he felt he could is uncalled for. I can only imagine how he treats his staff or other guests who have stayed there with children. In fact, after telling everyone I know of our unfortunate experience, others told me that they too had heard similar things. If you have kids, don't stay there because it is not a hotel that is kid friendly nor family friendly. On another note, we had many issues with the billing, as what we agreed to online on Relais & Châteaux website in which we booked, was completely different from what was charged to our card by the hotel. While the customer human resource tried her best to help, it still was never fixed, and it ended up being completely different than what we had agreed to pay. I have contacted Relais & Châteaux in an effort to explain all of this, so it does not happen to any other child or family again in a place they put their respected and reputable name on.

Beautiful chalet style hotel on the edge of a lake in Patagonia. Small and intimate and the service was superb. Lots of staff and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely Spa and pool area and sitting on the beach overlooking the lake.

Tuvimos la fortuna de elegir esta hostería para celebrar nuestro aniversario. Refinamiento, entorno de indescriptible belleza, exquisito desayuno frente al lago, calidez y buen gusto en cada detalle. Ni todas las estrellas del firmamento serían suficientes para calificar esta hostería.

Es una experiencia sobrenatural . Q placer tan inmenso! Es un lugar donde todo está donde debe estar, para pasarlo excelente! Gastronomía y hoteleria impecables desde donde se mire! El emplazamiento no podría ser mejor y la atención impecable!

Fantástivo. El enclave es único. Una suerte de barco azul al borde del lago. Nos dieron una habitación de esquina superior a la contratada debido a una anulación. Las vistas son un escándalo. El spa, muy especial, con una piscina que pasa de un interior a un exterior. El cocinero colombiano es buenísimo. Sin matices. Una de las camareras sabía, de verdad, de vinos y hablamos del Pinot noir mas al sur del mundo. Alguna comentaba con un volumen de voz demasiado alto. Una bebida al atardecer es algo inigualable

La Bahia de Las Balsas es uno de los tantos reincones de ensueño que tiene el lago Nahuel Huapi en Villa La Angostura. Tiene una playa tranquila y amplia, un muelle estupendo y una de las mejores experiencias hoteleras que me toco la suerte de vivir, la Hosteria del mismo nombre. Tiene un emplazamiento único, con vista al lago desde practicamente cualquier lugar, y por supuesto desde todas las habitaciones, que son increibles, tantos las hermosas suites de las esquinas, como todas las demas. Como me aloje con mi familia, tuvimos acceso a todas y todas son acogedoras e invitan a quedarse. Los espacios comunes, desde el living con la gran chimenea prendida todo el tiempo, hasta el pequeño espacio de lectura, el salon de eventos, la parrilla al aire libre y por supuesto el magnifico spa, son todos una atraccion en si mismos. Si Villa La Angostura no fuera tan bella, uno querria quedarse todo el tiempo en la Hosteria. Una frase aparte para el servicio y el personal: están atentos a cada detalle, todo el servicio es hiper premium, nada queda librado al azar y siempre estan para lo que necesites. Esto vale tanto para las encantadoras chicas de la recepcion, los camareros del exquisito restaurant, pero tambien para los que no se ven: los que cocinan delicias a toda hora, los que tienen las habitaciones siempre perfectas a toda hora.
